Out came the sun for the Address and Unveiling by the Dean of Westminster,
The Very Reverend Dr Wesley Carr.

And the Bishop of the Diocese of The Murray, The Right Reverend Ross Davies,
preparing to bless the Bust of Adam Lindsay Gordon.

One final note.
If you had been strolling past the day before,
you would have seen Margaret Muller (far right) with the Dean and his wife, Natalie,
together with the committees involved, positioning the Bust.
The exact position of the Bust on this earth,
according to my GPS, is ** S 37º 22.687**E 140º 50.208

Her Majesty The Queen presented the Very Reverend Dr Wesley Carr,
Dean of Westminster, with the award of Knight Commander of the
Royal Victorian Order at his farewell audience at Buckingham Palace
on Wednesday 8th February 2006

Dr Carr said afterwards: "It is the culmination of many privileges
which I have had as Dean of Westminster especially serving Her Majesty
The Queen and the Royal Family. This acknowledges the very hard work
put in by members of the Abbey staff which I greatly appreciate -
a magnificent team to lead."
